Question of the Day!

CIVILIAN EMPLOYER: "You're valuable. I'll keep you on my team."
ME, thinking: "Yeah, right. BOHICA!"

We're not too well like by employers. We don't drink excessively, we don't get stoned, we don't party hearty at company gatherings (the ones we can't avoid), we don't get caught doing things they can use against us, and we don't kiss butt. After awhile, they realize we might take their job, stopping or delaying their rise to maximum incompetence. They don't realize that we don't want their (censored) job.

As a soldier, I spent 44 months working in a joint command (read: Navy) on a Jarhead base. That's where I picked up the term "BOHICA". I think it's a Navy term.
