Question of the Day!

Used to have three turtles in a pond, all of them rescues.
The biggest was Nelson (he had one eye).
Then Myrtle. Then little Chortle.

We had been told that turtles like to sunbathe.
So we put a stack of bricks in the (artificial) pond to make a sunbathing area for them.

All three didn't fit.

So Nelson climbed on first, and stretched his neck and limbs out to catch the sun. Then Myrtle got on to his back and did the same. Then little Chortle heaved himself at the top.

It was such a sight, three of them, all stretched out.

Nelson usually wanted to quit first, so without giving the others warning, he'd jump in. This meant that Chortle fell, splash, on his back in the water!
