For me, finding just the right outline format is one of the most important parts of my story creation. It's quite time consuming for me because each story I write seems to demand its own. I can't just use the same one over and over, which is a bit annoying, TBH. lol But in the end, finding the perfect fit is worth it. I can fill in bits I'd not thought about that were prompted by the outline, but I'm not trying to force the story to fit a shape that's not realistic for it. Spanks are for people, not stories. Hahaha!
