Or do what I do. I have a book just for Novel and Short Stories WIP. That's where I keep all my outlining process. I mean, we can create up to 3k entries if we set our book as a blog. Why waste all that extra space right? It may be a little messy to have several novel outlines and short story ideas in one book, but you know what? Planning and writing is a messy business.
