Most often, I read the question, read through the answers and let my mind contemplate on how I'll answer. Once in a while I answer first because the answer is instantaneously present; that's the case today...

Oh Hell no. I firmly believe in the separation of church and state, and since public schools are state funded, there should not be any religion in them. That's not to say that a public school cannot hold a class about various religions to educate students about them, but even here I would say it's not a good idea because there will be teachers that push their beliefs instead of remaining neutral.
