Four adventures come to mind, the last one being fictional.
1) I want to go into space. I want to plunk down the cash necessary to propel my backside past the sixty-two mile mark into space.
2) I want to be the first human to reach somewhere. Maybe a heretofore unsummitted peak. Or an unexplored cenote. Something like that.
3) I want to go to Antarctica. Not on a cruise ship. Something like a refurbished icebreaker, with a small library, a decent cook and a nineteenth century style naturalist on board to lead the way, and give nightly lectures on our way to and back.
4) I want to go on an Arthur Conan Doyle Lost World style expedition. Not set in modern times, but in a romanticized late nineteenth century setting.
5) I’d like to looking for a lost treasure in a National Treasure setting (first movie), where I’d have to rely on my own skills and knowledge, and not AI or internet searches, to find that lost treasure.
