Who says I can't? When you have children who are attention deficit, you gotta talk fast, no time to think about what to say.. I have a system- I say the first word i can think of, even if I know it's wrong, then once I have the need to speak taken care of, I issue a correction. Example: "did you put your dirty dishes in the refrigerator? I mean, the dishwasher..."
It's speed that counts when you're talking to people who stop listening within seconds, not accuracy.
