Oh hell no! Except for a few exceptions, like research, I read for pleasure. If it's not pleasurable, I'm out of here! However, I will devote more time to Stephen King, knowing there is a good chance it will get better along the way, but even there, a few have gone by the wayside. Life's too short for crappy writing and bad stories.
