I want to try my hand at cyber punk. The only problem I have is that the world of computers is ever changing and I don't want to have the same problem Startrek: TNG did. (I misspelled that I know.)
For example it was supposedly the 23rd century and everyone was so impressed with Westley Crusher's idea to combine the nano bots to get "gigabytes of computing power."
Considering that we have devices that can store yottabytes now, thats not that impressive.(FYI Yottabytes are waaay bigger than gigabytes.)
