It is an active account, but this extra one should be closed once you get back in.

The email address on file was slightly different than the email address on your "newer" account, but I'm able to match up enough info between the two accounts that I went ahead just now and changed the email for the original account to match this one.

So please go ahead and request another password reset email. You should get that one at your current offsite email.
