"Do you love this world? Do you cherish your humble and silky life? Do you adore the green grass, with its terror beneath?"
Mary Oliver
Please respond to Mary Oliver's questions.
I do love this world inspite of its faults. I love the beauty that contains; trees, flowes, oceans, lakes and people. I love pets and all of nature that we have available to us: birds, various animals and yes some insects. The seasons are fascinating, even snow (I had too much of it when I lived in Utah). People are interesting. We live in a world of such technology and there is always people creating new things. I love art, music and babies. Who cannot love a baby and it is my pleasure to flurt with them in the markets.
I am not sure I have a silky life; it is comfortable and I have my health. Yes, I love grass but terror beneath it? Only if I sit on an ant hill.
I am not familiar with Mary Oliver but we have been blessed to be here, now, this point in time. It could be worse; like mid-century. That is not a time that I would want to be dropped into. Cold castles, body oders, hot clothes, diseases. No, I am quite happy with this era.
