Last week went really well despite coming into it a bit low on energy. This week, I feel a bit more on top of things, so I hope to keep that ball rolling and build some momentum.
Core Goals There are the main goals, the ones I will focus on first.
Write, edit, or outline every day: Same number one pritority as always: stay consistent.
Complete Fantasticon preparation: I need to polish the topic for my panels and send them out to the panelist this week.
Get ahead on projects at work: Hopefully, this will be the last time in a long while where I feel the need to include my dayjob on this list. But if I can focus and put enough time into to it, I have the chance to get ahead on two projects at work, which could really make the next month or so a lot easier all around.
Get exercise: Pushing this one up to the core goals as last week reminded me just how much a bit of exercise does for my overall happiness and energy level. Two full exercise sessions during the week is the minimum goal, while staying active in the in between days.
Stop snacking: I keep struggling to eat healthier. I'll try making the goal more concrete this time. I am not allowed snack anything sugary or fatty until the weekend (fruits and nuts are okay).
Do vocal exercises: Same as always. I need to keep the habit going and do the exercise at least once a day on average.
Stretch Goals The not-quite-as-important goals. The ones I want to achieve but I won't be overly sad about missing out on.
Do a review: Two stories left for review in WYRM. My hope is to read and review both, but at least one is the goal.
Complete a story: I have two short stories in the works write now, but my I can't really handle that at the moment, so I need to get one of them completed this week, so I can focus on just writing on one at a time.
Stay up to date with Codex: Rather than having to catch up every other week, I aim at staying up to date this time, checking in on discussions once or twice during the week.
Post in my Codex author thread: Again, this is low on the list and not a goal I'm likely to reach, but it'll work as a stretch goal if I do find some extra spare time lying around.
