Weekly Goals

I was thinking of Milton’s Paradise Lost and Edmund Spenser’s The Faerie Queen today, and I couldn’t help but think what genius and dedication it took to write what is literally epic poetry. Such lofty goals are beyond the realm of mere mortals such as I, but I think an ill-defined long poem is within reach. So this week, all my goals are WDC writing goals:

1) Write four poems (other than my daily Express it in Eight contribution)
2) Write four entries into my Psalms journal
3) At least five hundred words each into the two short stories still left in my Under Construction folder
4) An outline of my “long” poem
