It isn't just one it is several. The fact that my birthday is the day Auschwitz was liberated. I was watching the T.V. and saw President Kennedy shot. I was in the hall headed for a college journalism class when two professors were hailing students and saying go home school is canceled the USA is under attack. I was living in a trailer near an airbase when my husband called to inform me the base was on Defcon III alert I was close enough to the base to hear the bombers revving up for take off at a moments notice. Because of Russian Missiles discovered on Cuba aimed at the USA. My 9-month-old son and I were part of the women and children of military airlifted out of The Panama Canal Zone during the riots in Panama City 1964. Guadia-Nationel police rescued us from our apartment during the riots. I watched rioters burn our automobiles while being kept hidden by our land lady. There is more but I'm going to leave it for now. These are my life experiences. I'm 80. I've been watching people kill, maim, and destroy since 1945.
