School zones--definitely a place to follow the rules and slow down.
I've had two tickets, both for speeding, in 53 years of driving. My fault for both. But the one in a school zone really dinged my insurance. Honestly to this day I will claim there was no sign posted. I was driving through a Kansas City suburb that had two schools within three or four blocks of each other. I slowed for the first school, but apparently not for the second. I had just resumed speed from the first and got pulled over.
I'm slow in towns, but pushing it on the highways.
