I am sorry that happened. Which should have never happened.

I never got into an accident. I also never raced when there were other cars where something could happen. We made sure we raced away from the main roads.

Back in the 1970's we didn't have the kind of traffic we do today. I haven't car raced in years. I do drive fast but mainly 70-85 if I do. Majority of the faster drivers I let pass me nowadays.

The one you mention who drove, didn't take anything into consideration especially other drivers on the road. Just himself. He shouldn't have being go that fast on a highway with other vehicles. I didn't do what he did. If anyone was going to get hurt, it would have been the guys who were racing them away from regular drivers. We have tracks we used.

I may have driven fast but the only ones who were in danger was myself and other racers.
