I agree completely. Bob Dylan is often over-looked and even maligned at times, but he too, has had a lasting impact on music, art, politics, and the world at large. Like all great artists, he evolved over the years. There's a huge difference between his early work and later albums like Budokan. I've read articles that claimed he lost his soulful sound when he started adding background vocals and orchestral accompaniment, and other articles that state just the opposite. Planet Waves is and always was one on my favourite Dylan albums, but I'm just as happy listening to Budokan.
