all of them bring something to the party. I just like the idea of the hero being in constant danger of becoming the enemy. I even like the Last of us fungal zombies.

I have a lot of dreams about zombie apocalypses, but in them I tend to be the one with near-magical immunity to whatever course the infection takes, and my bite turns the infected back into normal people, or kills them if they are too decomposed.
