The Beatles Musical Extravaganza

Ringo's drumming is deceptive. Especially after Rubber Soul, he started to do some weird stuff. The band I played for we were a 50s/60s cover band and the Beatles songs we did were from the albums to Help. And, yes, I was a drummer too.

People give Ringo as hard time, but watching the recent documentary they released, he just came up with the right drumming patterns for each song. he knew. And he is a human metronome, so constant. I know people think Paul was a better drummer technically, but Ringo had/has something about him. Listen to the Abbey Road/Golden Slumbers medley and tell me Ringo is not a good drummer.
