That's one kind of mistake I see online pretty often. (The fallout if that kind of mistake is pointed out can get pretty rough.) I also see a lot of false assumptions made about people and their intentions. Mistakes was intended to be pretty broad here, as in my experience mistakes of any sort online can provoke super strong reactions.
