I don't think I'd swap places with any fictional character- well- I guess maybe Harold from Harold and the purple crayon since he had such grand adventures- but only for one singular day- mostly because that's all I'd want to tolerate of being a small child again.

Most authors put their characters through absolute hell and real life is hard enough without the chaos that authors create.
