I have no current knowledge regarding any shenanigans, so I can only reflect on my own experience. When I attended the University of Colorado's Denver Campus, I was living at home, so I wasn't exposed to dorm life. The bulk of my college days, culminating in an Associate of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland - European Division, took place while I was stationed in Germany. I got married close to the beginning of my studies, so once again - no dorm life; had I still been single and living in the barracks, though, being surrounded by a bunch of junior enlisted soldiers would have been a reasonable analogue.  |
