Here's the second effort to Yellow Submarine Indie Submarine In the town where I was born lived no man to write a book In the town where I was born, poetry was off the hook. we all live in an indie submarine, indie submarine indie submarine... When the stores were all locked down even in our tiny town When the stores where all locked down new worlds had to be found without a frown All we need to make a day is some book, a book to sway the mind from dire, dire dreams and Covid's nasty screams. So I went and wrote a book, got my mind, mind off the hook We all live in an indie submarine, indie submarine, indie submarine... Well, who does not know publishers will have no author unatied to an agent, and untried I all had the words, the words I need, but no publisher submarine... We all live in an indie submarine, indie submarine, indie submarine... Did apply, did did what I need got on the vanity submarine ponied up a lot of dough in embarrassment I now cough We all live in an in die submarine, in die submarine, indie submarine... But one day, one day so fine the university of YouTube divine, by diversity I found friends in net's community gave me advice, advice for free, cut the cable, set words free... We all live in the indie submarine, indie submarine, indie submarine... All we do, is write and write full of words and never trite in the sea, the deep blue sea of the internet oh, still free, all we need, friends far and wide where the world is but next door and a hand, a hand to moore, swapping tips and a bright idea, we don't hide we never hide, but some sales, oh they would please in the indie submarine... We all live in the indie submarine, inie submarine, indie submarine... |
