Diving Into The Deep End

I have no idea what I'm doing!

I posted my first piece (I'm not used to showing my writing to other people - so this is a big deal for me). I'm trying to figure out the best way to use this site and to meet people who are willing to read and critique my work (and I'm glad to do the same). I have posted something I'm working on and hope that others will check it out and give feedback.

Any feedback on how to get the most out of this group and any feedback on the writing I posted is greatly appreciated. If you want me to look at your stuff just let me know and if I can figure out how to do it, I will :)
