Noticing Newbies

I'm new to this and in the helpful tips tab, it said to say hi...so Hi :)

II'm a bit nervous, I haven't really showed my writing before. I hope some of you will read it and give some feedback. I posted my first piece. Feel free to comment. I'd love to make some friends on here and as soon as I figure out how, I will.

I'm very interested in becoming part of a community but I'm still figuring out how to navigate this site. I've given one review and have posted one sample of a piece I'm writing.

I'm not sure how to find posts to review. Is there a place I can click to see newly posted writings?

Anyway, any tips on how to use this site best is appreciated.
