Pretty sure that as a woman who just happens to be rough around the edges and not conforming to western gender stereotypes, I'd be burnt at the stake PDQ. At least in Europe or Colonial America.
I'd probably struggle anywhere in space-time. Maybe I would've felt most at home among the Lenape or Cherokee in the eighteenth century. Not sure what clan I would've been in Lenape or Cherokee. However considering that at that point the Cherokee had a matriarchal society at that point and I would've been allowed to farm, I could've been happy living in that setting.
For those not in the know: Before the Trail of Tears the Cherokee lived in Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas. They also occasionally went up to Virginia and Maryland. Today, the Eastern Band of Cherokee lives in North Carolina.
