Question of the Day!

MOVIES: If a trailer catches my attention, I'll watch the movie. I'm not one to follow the hype with movies and seldom like the ones everyone is talking about, so I tend not to watch too many movies.
BOOKS: With books, it's usually the description of the book or even the author that gets me interested in a book or book series. Sometimes it's the cover art that does it for me - yeah, I know, that only works out for me about half the time, but it has worked, and I've found some gems that I never would have picked up otherwise.
TV: I do take recommendations on good anime from my coworkers and daughters. Some of those are pretty entertaining. Also, if I'm flipping through the channels and something catches my attention, I'll give it a go. If it's good, I'll keep watching. That's how I ended up watching the entire series of The Librarians. It was goofy at times, but I enjoyed it. Sometimes goofy can be a good thing. That might be why I like Canadian shows so much. Clean humor.

And sometimes, if there's a book series that I really loved that they make into a movie series or TV show or mini-series, I'll give it a try. Some are worth it, some are lacking - but it never hurts to give it a try!
