         Sometimes it boils down to who's in the movie, or who directed it. For Directors, I'm a fan of M. Night Shyamalan, and Mike Flanagan (Who I've met waiting tables!), Actors/Actresses is a longer list. Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Michael Peña, Sandra Bullock, Will Smith, Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck, and a few more. Or maybe I see a preview, or know it's from a series I enjoy (Jurassic Park for example). What I don't enjoy much at all, are movies that have a lot, and I mean A LOT of special effects (explosions and the like). That's a major reason I've stopped seeing Marvel movies. For the most part, they are nothing but Special Effects that I have no desire to see. I'd rather see good acting with a great plot that builds, than special effects like that.
