Question for everyone, what are your views on using AI in your writing? I don't mean using it to completely write it but as a brainstorming tool, or even to assist with forming an outline or even writers block.

Here is a summary of a chapter, what are some (romantic, comic, suspense, etc.) ideas for what comes next.

or

Help me come up with a story outline of a murder mystery that takes place in a small town.

Using AI as a tool. I'm curious on your views, thoughts, opinions.


Personally, especially for new writers, I think it can be an effective tool if used sparingly; but I can see how it could easily become a "crutch".

Thoughts?
