I am against all AI use. We are writers, so ideas etc. should be our bread and butter. If you need AI to give ideas, then that takes away from the artistry.

We didn't need it 5 years ago; why now?

Plus AI harms the environment and leads to lower intelligence levels. Not an exaggeration; both are evident in the scientific literature.
