Blogging Circle of Friends Prompt Forum

I am a dog lover as far as pets go. Cats are pretty and so independent that I have never been very close to one. I did sit my daughter-in-laws Snowball (looked the part) for about 6 months while she and family were relocating and settling. She was different; kept to herself mostly but she did like to play with a feather on a string.

Snowball was totally an house cat. Hiding somewhere during the day and at night came out to play. Early, very early morning she wanted her breakfast. She was good with her cat box and never made any messes. So, she to me was unique.

I have had mostly bad experiences with people not taking care of their cats. Too many babies and farel cats in our neighborhood. People leave out food and cats hang around and make messes in the flower beds, climb on our cars and just not good experience.

Dogs on the other hand need to be leashed and you must pick up after them. So, I am down with cats. I would never own one.
