Question of the Day!

"What activity would you be willing to try that's out of your comfort zone?"

Oh my, what a query to ask an old reprobate, I know that is the correct word because it is what my wife proclaimed me when I relayed the QOTD. She said, "Don't do it!"

"What..." I decry, my impish innocence exuding from my face like the smile of a six-week-old beagle.

"At 69, your dreams of a swinger's life are forever an unfulfilled fantasy."

"Ha, what if I just traded you for two 20s?"

"You're not wired for 220; you'd blow a breaker the moment someone flipped your switch."

Our conversation went much darker than I am allowed to share of my wife's editorials toward my efforts to amuse and entertain. I should note that I did win one minor concession, in that she says I can have a girlfriend if I want. There is one small catch, though.... "She gets to pick her!"

So, I am here answering the QOTD instead of indulging in other crazy fantastical lunacies. Because, after 46 years of marriage to this woman, I know to be extremely careful about what I wish for; it usually works out well for me.
