Rach's Reading Club

I don't blame you at all for going for shorter books. I've done that a bit this year. As for this book ... It is a good one. I read it a while ago. I wasn't sure what I would think because my best friend (who usually has the same taste as I have in books) said she hated it and couldn't finish it. But I wanted to give it a go, and I liked it. I thought it was really well written, and Christopher was a fantastic character. The place I struggled a bit with was the lack of emotion in the writing. I know it's because Christopher is narrating, and he doesn't experience emotion in the same way. But I did find it a little hard to connect at times. Overall, though, I really liked it. It's definitely unique.
