I love games. Growing up, my family was big on recreational card games (Thirty-One, Go Fish, Crazy Eights, War, Cribbage, etc.) and all-ages board games (Monopoly, Risk, Clue, Pictionary, Life, Chutes & Ladders, etc.). In my teenage years, I got into more sophisticated board games (Chess, Scattergories, Balderdash, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, etc.) and formal card games (poker, blackjack, etc.)., as well as tabletop roleplaying games for the first time (Dungeons & Dragons, Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, GURPS, etc.), and video games (Super Nintendo and PlayStation 2). In college I got into more sophisticated video games (PlayStation 3 and computer games), as well as niche board games and I continued my interest with TTRPGs off-and-on. Today, I have a weekly TTRPG game night (we'll sometimes play other board games), and a small group of other friends that will get together for a board game night once every couple of months, where everyone brings a favorite game to play. So yeah, I like to play a lot of different types of games. But I'll tell you what kind of games I definitely don't like... ▼ |
