I look up stuff I don't know ALL the time, because I freely admit- I don't know a lot. Most people don't, but I've noticed very few admit it.

The hardest part is trying to find a legitimate source for knowledge that's factual. In some ways, I miss the old reference sections of libraries and the old-fashioned encyclopedias'. You used to be able to trust government websites with information, but not so much lately.
