I'm glad you found this site, and thanks for stopping by to introduce yourself.

Didn't everyone mess up the first time they did something, and the second time, and the fiftieth time? Just go with the flow and enjoy it, that's all. Goodness gracious, I've been here eighteen years, and got loads of items in my portfolio, and just two months ago I messed up terribly in an important contest entry - I forgot what I'd called my protagonist and changed his name halfway down! *Rolling* I mean, if that's not messing up, what is, eh? *Wink*

You just do what's comfortable. Read, write, review, reply ... or not. There are no particular expectations -- it's all about what feels right to you!
