I'm just back home where it all started! My parents are getting on a bit, so I came home to be nearby if needed.

That's also the reason I abandoned so many other sites - it was like shouting into the void. Here I got a huge amount of constructive feedback about the memoir I was writing. (One of these days I'll get on with the rewrite. *Blush*)
