From my background in both journalism and screenwriting, I've embraced the fact that brevity is my "style." I don't think I'll ever be the kind of writer who writes a 150,000-word+ doorstop novel full of vibrant description and intricate details. I'm more of a, "Here's the minimal amount of information to get the point across" kind of writer.
