I make a pretty good 'No Peak' Casserole. Strange name I know, I was given this recipe by a friend. It's like a Beef Stroganoff really. Beef Stew Meat, or a cubed rump roast, or similar. I like using Fajita Meat 1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup 1 package of Dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix Using the Soup Can, add 1/2 can of Sherry Cooking Wine or your favorite Beer. (I prefer the Sherry Cooking Wine) Place everything in a 11" x 8" baking dish and mix well. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for at least 3 hours. (Your mouth will be watering that last hour or so. Serve over Rice or Noodles and Veggie of choice. If you work like almost everyone does, put this in a Crock Pot on low for at least 8 hours. When you get home, your house will smell heavenly! Now all you need to do is make the Rice or Noodles and the Veggies. Jim Dorrell{/sig} |
