Jayne Author IconMail Icon now runs the "Rebel Poetry Contest" , but back in 2023 she was just one of us mere mortals. The contest usually has multiple prompts, and this particular edition had a crazy old black-and-white cartoon from the early thirties. IIRC, most people body-swerved that one, but she won the contest with this effort:
