I see no contradiction there. We don't have to embrace every new technology that comes along, or accept everything about a certain technology. Like, there's a lot about the internet that I appreciate, including the ability to talk to people on the other side of the planet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its drawbacks.

It would also be quite difficult to be a Luddite who posts on the internet. That would be a contradiction.
