Hi, Lyn, I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving day because it’s not a traditional holiday in Australia, but I do have lots of reasons to give thanks.
I give thanks for people like you, Lyn, who attempt each day to inspire us to write.
I give thanks for my family, each and everyone brings something different and interesting to my life.
I give thanks my husband and I are celebrating our diamond wedding anniversary on the 22nd of December and that we’re both upright enough to enjoy the day. 60 years!
I give thanks for the many people I meet and with whom I exchange laughs and good times at my various groups, especially my local writer’s group.
I give thanks for WdC and all the stimulation it gives my mind and heart each day.
I give thanks for the wonders of modern medicine, without which my husband and I would probably not be here today.
I even give thanks to technology which often gives me cause to pull my hair out, but without it my life would be harder and less interesting.
I’m going to stop with this list but that’s not to say I’ve run out of reasons to be thankful because I could write a book of reasons.
Now there’s a thought!🤗
