Noticing Newbies

Great! I'm trying to write 1000+ words of science fiction a day every day this month, these are just little free-standing little bits that may or may not lead anywhere. I've been posting them on my portfolio.

The only one that's a freestanding story is the one for Nov. 15--I call it "Spin Room," 3500 words. It's about a fella who has a birth defect that makes him the perfect person to take a trip to the aliens' world, but it doesn't turn out the way he thought it would....
