Noticing Newbies

My user name is growltiger. For about 7 years, I've been trying to write a book about the cult I was in during the 1980s.

I have approximately 120 handwritten pages which are basically a memoir of the first 6 years; this timeframe lent itself to a narrative because I was able to remember everything without much trouble. But the last 4 years were such a blur that a chronology doesn't work well.

Also, how do I go about polishing the draft into a manuscript?

I've been stumped about how to proceed for about 2 years now, and am getting a little frustrated by the blank screen syndrome.
