Wow, that list goes on and on: First and foremost, my Mother, who inspired me to keep going no matter what, and not to let petty grievances or grudges weigh me down. Then there are the teachers who set standards that I'm still trying to live up to. Musically, Wally Alessi, Barry Titone, and Ed DeIulio, among others, include Jon Link, Beverly Foley, and Professor Selleck (no relation), who helped grow and foster my interest in history, reading, and, in the last case, writing. Then we get to musicians/players, too many to list; not all were pros, and not all were trombonists, but they all had a place in shaping me musically.
