Wow, I could probably write a book on the people who've inspired me. Fear not, I'll not go that deep down the groudhog hole in the forum. My mother instilled in me the desire to be different, to be myself, and not follow the crowd. My Uncle Bud and my brother Doug; Bud entered WWII in Africa and survived all the way to the end of the war. His inspiring words, "For God and Country, what more can a man give?" My brother volunteered to serve two tours of duty in Vietnam because he believed it was our duty to defend anyone and everyone against tyranny. He instilled in me the desire to serve my country and to preserve the rights of everyone, even those who oppose everything I believe in; that's what freedom is. Last, but definitely not the least influential person in my life is my wife. She continues to believe in me, stands beside me, and encourages me. I can honestly say that in the 23 years we've been together, the only times she has not been by my side are the times I've stumbled and lost my way. Then she was in front, leading me.
