What would you consider the ideal spot where would you want to live for the rest of your life? There's no way would remain in Illinois! There are two states I really love, and if I could, I'd have a place in each one. Obvious to most people, is Hawaii. I lived there 9 years in the 70's and early 80's. I never got Island Fever, loved the people of the islands, the scenery, and of course, the Weather. The other place is where I grew up, New Mexico. My heart will always have a place for that state, I still call it home, even though I've lived in Illinois 3 times longer than either of those states. Overseas? I don't know. I loved Australia, England, and Germany. But being realistic, I would remain in the states. Jim Dorrell |
