Noticing Newbies

Hello all,

I am new to the site. I haven't written anything for 25 years. Once upon a time I was a poet.

I have just picked up a pen for the first time in quarter of a century for therapeutic reasons. I don't know how far down the road I will go but I felt the need to have some eyes look at my first attempt at a thing.

Hopefully there will be more and better Things.
