I write everything by pen first. I carry a small notebook and a pen with me everywhere I go just incase an idea occurs to me. Much easier than carrying my laptop.

Like Zen, I type pretty fast. BUT, I usually have a very large number of mistakes to correct. Hence, pens work much better for me.
