Various colours - and other ML - in a line of text
Earlier, when I wanted different colours in a line of text, I could select a few words first, pick a colour and then select the whole line and pick another colour. There would be two different colours.
Now, the selection of the whole line apparently over rides the earlier selection of part of the line. So I have to do the whole line first and then the part.
If possible, I'd like it to be either way please.

Here's a demonstration just for you.

I selected 'demonstration' and made it orange, and then made the whole line green. So the orange disappeared.
Whereas now, if I select the whole line first and then the part

Could it work either way please? Thanks!
